Small Group Questions June 4, 2023
“Such Great Salvation” Hebrews 2:1-9
Read Hebrews 2:1-2. What do we need to listen carefully to? Why?
What are some things in your life that make it difficult to hear God’s message? What distracts you? What can you do to listen better?
What role does the local church play in helping us avoid drifting away from God’s truth?
Read Hebrews 2:3-4 What is the answer to the question in verse 3?
How has God confirmed the message?
Read Hebrews 2:5-9 Who will control the future world? Why have we not yet seen it happen?
What position was Jesus given? Why?
What position does Jesus have as a result of suffering death for us? What significance does Jesus’ death have for you and for the whole world?
Prayer
Thank God for His love for you and all He has created.
Thank Jesus for being willing to become human, to suffer and die for us.
Pray for those who have not yet come to know the great salvation Jesus provides.
Pray that as a church we will not drift from the truth.
