Takes place each Sunday morning from 9:15-10:15 am. Children in preschool through 5th grade are encouraged to attend a morning group where God’s truth is revealed through age-appropriate lessons, crafts, games, skits and more.
A worship and teaching time for children in kindergarten through 4th grade during the Sunday morning worship service. Currently, children worship with their families for the first few minutes of the service, then are dismissed to Community Kids Worship in the multi-purpose room.
Meets each Wednesday evening (September-May) from 6:30-8:00 pm. Kids from age three through fifth grade learn God’s Word while having fun at the same time. Age-appropriate games, lessons, and workbook materials will challenge your child as they learn about God and interact with approved adult workers who care about your child’s spiritual growth. There are also special events throughout the year like Fall Festival, Operation Christmas Child and the Awana stores. Awana Clubs International is one of the largest children’s ministries in the world. For more information about Awana, go to their website, www.awana.org or contact Brenda Leibundgut at firstname.lastname@example.org. To register your children to participate in our Awana Club, go to communitycarlisle.org/awana/
Separate nurseries are provided during morning groups and the Sunday morning worship service for newborns through preschool. On Wednesday evening, nursery is provided for children of parents who serve in Awana and Community Youth ministries.
For your child’s safety we ask parents/guardians to register and check-in their children at the Kid Check station located by the front entrance. When you register, you’ll create a family profile that allows you to communicate important information to our children’s workers. For more information or to pre-register go to www.kidcheck.com.
