“Living in the Reality of Christ”
March 6, 2022
1. Opening Question: “What is reality? What is real?
2. Read Colossians 2:16-19
Have you ever felt condemned by someone? What made you feel that way?
What are the things that Paul says to not let anyone condemn us with? Are these things that can be used to condemn in our day?
Are there others for today we should be careful about?
How is Christ reality?
What does Jesus do for the body? (The church)
3. Read Colossians 1:20-23
How have we been set free? What are we free from?
What makes rules seem wise?
How do we conquer evil desires?
4. Prayer
Praise Jesus as our Savior, our Reality, and the One who holds all things together.
Give thanks that Christ has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world.
Ask Jesus to keep you close to Himself, and help you avoid false teaching.
Ask Him to help you live in the freedom of grace, and not the bondage of rules.
Ask Him to help you help others live in freedom.
