Small Group Questions January 15, 2023
Our Commitment to Christ & His Church Ephesians 4:1-16
If someone asked you why you go to church, what would your answer be?
Read Ephesians 4:1-6. How has God called us and what has He called us to? How should we then live?
As Paul writes to the church in Ephesus, what does he tell them to focus on?
Paul lists a lot of “one”s in this passage – why is this important?
Read Ephesians 4:7-13. What is the purpose of the special gifts? Who is the giver of the gifts?
As the church is built up and believers are equipped for ministry, what is the result? (v.13) Do you see this is our church?
Read Ephesians 4:14-16. What is the danger of immaturity? What is the measure of maturity?
What is the key to unity and effectiveness? (v.16) What part do each of us play in this?
Pray
For unity in our church.
For effective and appropriate use of gifts.
For Jesus Christ to be Lord, and His love evident.
For us to all grow in maturity and becoming like Christ.
