  • As we approach Thanksgiving, what challenges have you faced this year? ​​ What blessings​​ have you seen?

 

  • Read Psalm 103:1-5 ​​ What does David tell himself to do? ​​ (v.1-2) ​​ What does he​​ say that God has done for him? ​​ (v.3-5) ​​ How are these encouraging words for you?

 

  • Read Psalm 103:6-14. ​​ What does David say that God does? ​​ What does he say in regards to who God is? ​​ What does this mean for you and your relationship with God?

 

  • Read Psalm 103:15-18. ​​ What is true about our human existence? ​​ (v.15-16) ​​ What is the contrast stated about the Lord and what are the blessings we receive? ​​ (v.17-18)

 

  • Read Psalm 103:19-22. ​​ Who does David instruct to praise the Lord? ​​ What significance does it have for you to realize that​​ when you praise the Lord, you are joining with angels and all creation? ​​ 

 

  • How do you “let all that you are” praise the Lord?

 

  • Prayer

  • Thank God for all He has done for you. ​​ Pray the first 5 verses of this Psalm.

  • Thank God for who He is. ​​ That He is compassionate and merciful,​​ and does not​​ punish us.

  • Acknowledge your limits and weakness before the Lord and​​ thank Him that his love is forever. ​​ 

  • Pray for children and grandchildren to enjoy God’s salvation.
